Job Summary:
As an Associate Accountant, you will assist the Managing Partner in delivering comprehensive accounting and financial services to our clients. You will be responsible for handling daily transactions, preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, and providing analytical support to ensure clients’ financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Managing Partner with daily, monthly, and year-end accounting and reporting operations.
• Set up and manage client accounts using QuickBooks or similar software.
• Post daily transactions into clients’ general ledgers.
• Perform general account analyses and reconciliations, including bank statements and fixed assets.
• Analyze and organize financial data for reporting and assist clients with new acquisitions.
• Prepare and submit financial statements (balance sheet, profit & loss, and cash flow) for client review.
• Support clients with year-end, federal, and state audits.
• Manage data migration from legacy systems to new accounting platforms.
• Coordinate billing, collections, and payables in collaboration with the Managing Partner.
• Assist with tax-related tasks, including data collection and preparation for tax filings.
• Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure deadlines are met.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding accounting and tax matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role (Associate Accountant, Accountant, Deputy Financial Controller, or related).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
